They say the are associated with your electric company (supplier). They say they can save you on the cost per kwh to transmit electricity to your home/business. They offer a lower rate than that currently being provided by your current provider. My experience with this telemarketers scammers is they provide the lower rate for a period of time. Sometime in the future when your term is renewed (usually automatically as you usually forget about these things) they jack the rate 3x-5x until you are hit with an outrageous electric bill (i.e. $900 for a month of service). CAVEAT EMPTOR ... IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE ... IT PROBABLY IS.
