I work for a local county, this person calls frequently using different numbers. This is just one of them. They ask for a person who does not work in the office and then insist that they do, or tell me that the person just left them a voice mail and they are a personal friend, or a number of other ways to get around me. Funny thing is, I work for the District Attorney's office. I am familiar with scam artist. I for one wouldn't tell you if the person DID work for us or DIDN'T work for us and I will NEVER transfer you! And I have advised all my staffers to do the same. So good luck!
