Called my 79 yr. old Mother this a.m. and said they were sending her a new Medicare card. They stated her name, address and phone number and the routing number from her checking account! They asked her to give them the rst of the numbers from the bottom of one of her checks. She said she would not and asked if it was a scam. The lady became irate and told Mom they were cancelling her Medicare unless she gave them the numbers. Mom, once again, stated she believed the phone call to be a scam and the lady told her they were cancelling her Medicare and hung up!
