They said they re volusia county sherif office and they are collection agency

They called hunting my daughter, who does not live with us. Accused me of being an acessory in a plot to borrow money and not pay it back. Accused my daughter of being a criminal, fraudulent, and sick, also said she had missed a court date last Friday and that was the second court she had missed. When I said you are not suppose to reveal 3rd party info about someone else and ask him questions about who he worked for, etc, he told me he was the one who was to ask questions not me and he was Investigator Murdock from the NC Fraud Investigation Team. He actually got mad at me because I ask him questions and he hung up. Big deal, they are now being sued by mine and my husband's attorney for defamation of character, harrassment, causing illness due to calls which had nothing to do with us. They are most definetly a collection agency.

Said if I didn't call within 24 hours the sheriff would be at my door.

they called my mom asking questions about me. when i tried to call them. i got a answering machine that said i had reached Nork-Tear and Associates and for me to leave my name number and file number. no idea wh these people are.

If you want to really scare them, let them know you contacted the police dept and let them know they are using their name and threatning arrest. I told them that and they called me back in two minutes terrified. Finally back at yeah bill collector.

THESE SAME PEOPLE HAVE BEEN CALLING MY MOTHER'S HOUSE (I HAVE NOT STAYED WITH MY MOTHER IN 7 YEARS) BUT THEY KEEP CALLING TELLING HER THAT THEY ARE GOING TO PUT ME IN JAIL IF I DONT PAY THEM. MY QUESTION IS CAN THEY DONT THIS?
