Received a text that just said hello but this site says it’s a landline. Responded with who is this and received no reply. This happens to me a lot but my number is relatively new 6 months.
Call started by being asked if a specific individual (SI) would be at their home address in one hour to get served with court papers. When told no caller insisted we get pencil and paper to write down a case ID# and an 866 number. Caller said we needed to call that number back ASAP and threatened the SI would be held in contempt and face charges for missing court date if did not call this number. Caller was very info avoidant, would not give their name, company name or any information about who they were working for, just said they were "a process server." Caller would not say who the 866 number belonged to, after being repeatedly asked said it was "an authority" and when further pressed for WHAT authority they stalled, played dumb and eventually gave the name of a nearby city that we do not live in. Very sketchy bogus call.
called my cell phone 3 times in a row 1 after the other. This seems to be a new pattern where they keep calling hoping you'll get pissed an answer call.
Since I don’t know too many companies on Nome, AK … particularly ones whose spokesperson has a heavy British accent this number is likely a phishing / scam. BEWARE!!!
Sent me a text stating that an auto-payment of $725 was pending Lingry at my Credit Union & gave me a pin # to complete payment, or to click a link in text if it wasn't me and to cancel payment.
this number was sent as a text message to me regarding that a transaction for $314.99 was made at Lowes, TX on 7/14/22 they wanted to know if this was me. To cancel here at the website on my phone reads: https:// \cs3tl-ns.live/HyWNJ i tried this website on my laptop & it is a suspicious website
Party texted and forwarded a link. Said my account was blocked due to an unusual withdrawal attempt. I do not have an account with the bank they sent the link for.
Immediately (without asking who they were speaking to or for a specific person) told me to give them my name, license plate number, and other personal information. When I balked and asked them who they were trying to reach, they hung up on me. Seems like a scam call.
Beware these a-hole call one up and start cursing at a person claiming they want there stuff back and they will get the cops on to a person if they dont pay them 10,000.00 plus give to them the vehicle that one owns. The person was India , maybe Mexican , or some other than a American.
