I think this is probably a spam or solicitation call and probably not a collection call, although I'm not sure. The call came in, rang twice, and stopped. My cell phone company labeled it as "suspected spam" (which happens with sales and collections calls), but collectors usually let it ring the entire 4+ times and go to voicemail if unanswered, whereas sales rings enough to allow an answer but not go to voicemail.
I think it could be a bath remodeling company because we recently entered a contest and are possibly interested in their work. We asked for no calls and email-only contact initially, but the phone immediately started ringing within an hour of that registration and hasn't stopped. We won't answer now.
Individual called claiming to be from Social Security Administration saying that there has been suspicious activity on my account and to please call 425-292-5995. Ignored call. Caller left voicemail message
Local number called so my husband answered. Said they were from Amazon and something wrong with a recent order.
I haven’t ordered anything from Amazon in a while so I know it was a SCAM
just got dead air, connection open line with out response. number came in again, this time did not pick up, went to voice mail, no message left, more dead air.
Got a call from this number claiming my Microsoft Windows license is going to expire, they wanted to gain access to my computer, I assume to steal all my information. This is obviously a scam, Microsoft doesn't expire, nor will they ever call you unless you initiate the call first.
It’s a girl that says she can lower my credit card rate but first I have to provide the credit card number. I’m 78 years old and I’m not sure if that’s how the process works. Can someone confirm if that’s the case ?
called about 15 minutes after another Hickory NC called (Hagar Worldwide), left no message. When I called back, it was disconnected/no longer in service
This number keeps calling me incessantly and leaves only a beeping noise on my answering machine and when I actually did answer it. It sounds like a fax machine,
