I picked up and said hello. I heard nothing back except for something that sounded like a machine running and then the caller hung up. I heard that calls like this are part of some fraud or scam.
573-312-2490 Caller ID just says "Elsberry MO". Calls every few days, different times of day. Does not leave a message, only lets it ring a couple times and always disconnects before answering machine even kicks on.
Id received this number on my ID log several times. Id tried calling it back several times but said wasnt in service. A few days later i tried again& a man answered & he ask about me & seemed odd. I didn't tell him anything & hung up.
Missed call on my cell. No idea if the information above is connected with the caller or if it was (more than likely) someone using their info to mask themselves. I've never heard of the above business, no reason for them to be calling me, especially on my cell. No message left. [You have to wonder how secure our communications lines are if it's as easy as it appears to be to mask your identity and the phone companies don't seem to be able to do a thing about it. Just who is in control here?]
SCAM NUMBER 212-228-7587 alleges online to be Manhattan NY restaurant but no answer, no delivery for food order billed on credit card as unknoown co. MUNCHADO
Fraud caller saying the government wants to pay me $14,000, so I need to call this number with a special code so they can get the information to send me the money. I give them some false info, and he gives me a code. I'm sure it's a scam, but I play along. But, when I call the number, it reports "The Google user you are trying to reach is not available, please leave a message."
SELLS FAKE CONCERT TICKETS - HUGE SCAMMER!!!!!!!! THEY LOOK SO REAL AND HE ACTED SO REAL & COOL!
He even sent me pics of the tix before I picked them up! He kept saying he was so worried about HIM 'being scammed', that it made it sound legit!
MET UP WITH HIM, THE TIX WERE PERFECT WITH THE CONFIRMATION, HE TOOK OUR $500 AND WE WENT TO THE CONCERT, ONLY TO FIND OUT WE'D BEEN SCAMMED.
ONLY *ONE!!!!!* LETTER ON THE TICKET WAS FAKE - such an asshole prick dickhead
A dead line when I answered. Even after I spoke. Could have been someone else phishing with a disguised phone number. For a caller ID payment. My caller ID said it was "Michigan Licensing".
These PESTS call my unlisted, unpublished (ha ha) phone number DAILY! It's "blocked" on my AT&T phone which supposedly blocks 250 numbers and you can choose to hear "no ring" or "one ring!" Now WHY, I ask AT&T would I want to hear ANY ring from a caller I've blocked?!? But now the "no ring" no longer works!" That happened within a year but warranty was only good for 30-90 days! I forget but it was MOOT! So NOW I'm going to move it to my Verizon Fios Block List where I will get NO RINGS until THAT list fills up!!! I used to get excited when a teaser for the evening news would say something about stopping robocallers but I would listen and they would say some garbage about it taking place in 2967!
ng no medsages left
