The caller asks for a Christina somebody who had a hip replacement. I have asked to be removed from the call list about a month ago. I'm still receiving the calls.
The caller from this number claims to be with some government grant program, where the government picked your name to receive a cash grant of $7800. But here's the catch, you need to pay a fee of about $200 before they'll release any monies to you. And you need to put that fee on an untraceable Green Dot money card. Even though you give them your bank numbers they still can't take it out from the bank. I looked this number up and found the number does not go to any government agencies whatsoever, or why else would they need to have an UNPUBLISHED number. This is a big scam of your money, don't fall for it.
My phone rings at least between two and three hours starting at 11:29 am, everyday for at least a week. I don't answer because there is no name that comes up. I really would like for whoever is at that number would Please quit calling.
Gentleman claims to be a Lt. Steven Jackson from the ‘American Law Enforcement Agency’ and is going to send out an ‘APB’ for my arrest. He claims I took out a payday loan for $7000.00. He claims to have my social security number and is going to take $7900.00 from my bank account if I don’t pay back the debt.
This man has an accent and sounds like he is in a call center. There is a lot of background noise. He calls numerous times a day.
I AM SO ANNOYED!! This "Victoria John" person inquires about EVERY rental listing I have (no matter the size, price, etc) several times a day! My email is flooded with inquiries from "her" through hot pads, zillow, and a few others. They won't respond by email or call so I don't really see what the point in continuing to inquire is but I am really getting aggravated at having to delete 40 emails a day…
Called midmorning, saying "Hello, Grandma". When I told him he probably had the wrong number, he said he was somebody I knew who hadn't talked to me in a long time & I should guess who it was - he said, "I have a cold so my voice is off". After some bantering back and forth that led to my verifying that it could not possibly be the person that I had guessed it was, I hung up. He was not rude but mentioned that he was on vacation with a friend in Cancun. I suspect he was trying to set me up for a money wiring scam.
Called my job & myself used foul language towards me & people that answered at work. They were told to stop calling it's an acute care facility need phones open for emergency, you're trying up our business lines & someone could die. Michael said didn't care if someone died. They called my job about 10 times today wed. & my phone at least 4 times. They got me fired. Just called this number disconnected or no longer in service. HMMMM
Recording that says it's my 'last chance to reduce credit card debt'. They call repeatedly. I have spoken to someone before and asked to be removed from their call list but it does no good. Typically, they hang up on me when I have made this request.
For the past four days, around 1:00-2:00pm I've been receiving calls from (902)201-1753 and (902)229-4881.
The calls from 201-1753 claimed to be TD Canada Trust, they knew my first and last name. I told the caller she was a scammer and that I did not want these calls anymore. The next day, the calls started coming from the other number.
These numbers have been reported on other websites, hopefully this can somehow stop eventually.
I keep getting random calls from this number! I do not know who you are. I tried to return the call using a landline but get a message that my call cannot be completed as dialed. Obviously this is a scam or someone trying to commit fraud. I receive several calls each week.
I receive calls from this number, 212-789-4566, at least 2x per day, and each time there is a click and an automated voice says "goodbye". Several people have commented on the White Pages reverse phone look-up that a caller from this number says they are from Microsoft tech support. Can't Verizon do something about disconnecting this landline???
