I do work for wells fargo......
This number claims to be wells fargo. When this number calls you and it asks for either your card number or account number i guess. Now when i got back to work here i cross referenced that number with any department or side number we had. No number was found and the voice and music does sound yes like wells fargo but the options they give you before they transfer you to our phone bank is not the usual options......Just letting everyone know instead of calling back putting in your numbers etc. call phonebank at 1-800-towells.....They will be able to tell you if something is needed or wrong with your accounts.
Person calls selling Home Security Systems product and says "Thank you for taking our recent survey - you have just won a free installation - When can we schedule an installation date with you". We told "him" we are not interested. Now same man calls every night starting at 8:00pm est and continues for one hour.
Automated voice recorder indicating the warranty of the automobile is expiring. According to the recorder, it is the 3rd notification, but since I have had my current number (a work phone) I have never received one before.
every time I pick up this call, there is just a complete silence. I returned back the call but the message was the no. is not valid. just today i received 10 calls from this number. It is soooo annoying!!!Everyday this person is calling me at least 5 times
This company is the worst company ever. They said they were a fraud protection company and took $379 from an elderly lady. They did not send her anything but took her money. We tried calling them back and had two rude customer service reps pick up the phone one who hung up on us. One named Rob and the other named Trevor. Please be aware of this company. Do not give any personal info.
I am on a no call list in both my state and nationally yet this company called me on my cell phone with the offer of travel (once I spoke to someone, it was travel to Cancun). It is a marketing company.
Let answering machine get it without any msg left, tried calling back from a blocked phone, only to learn this is not a real number and "cannot be dialed" at all..oh well..
Third call from this number in the past month. I'm in southern Ontario Canada and got a pre-recorded message informing me that "my car warranty was due to expire" and that I should have my "vehicle warranty number ready" for some "great deals" on "car warranty extensions". I don't own a car. When I pressed 1 to speak to a live person, I told the male who answered that it was the third time I'd requested that this number be taken off their call list and he simply hung up on me. Judging by the other entries here regarding this number and the great variety of purported "services" that are being offered from this single number, I'd suggest that someone is persistently up to no good and perhaps it is time that law enforcement really should look at these guys a little more closely.
The person said he was from "life quality pharmacy" and that he was trying to set up home delivery of diabetic testing supplies. He wanted my SS number to verify my health insurance coverage. Unfortunately, I gave him the number, and have not heard another word from him. Shame on me!!
Received a call from this number today (11-16-08)on my home phone number and didn't answer. Immediately when the house phone stopped ringing, my husband's in-home office phone started ringing from same number. Didn't answer that either. Has to be some sort of telemarketing or pfishing because it obviously is going down a computerized phone book listing or something. Very weird. Thank goodness for Caller ID!
Showed up as "Pay Phone". Message said it was from a correctional institution. Something about *72 and a minimum charge of $3.99 a minute. I don't answer numbers I don't know or people I don't know. Suspect it is the old capture your phone scam so they can make a bunch of unlimited calls. Hope they rot in jail.
