First they asked if I was a skydiving instructor then a baseball coach. Kept saying Linda introduce us and asking if NY name was David. More annoying than anything.
Call from this number said he was from Amazon and asked to verify a purchase for 1,400+$. When I asked for him to give me my Amazon account number he said he’d transfer the call to customer service. Gave his name as James Smith
Pretending to be connected with my Safe Driver discount from State Farm & sent a link to receive some sort of Perk. Called S.F. and they said it's not from them.
I think this is someone trying to scam my business or personally attack me, but that is still not clear. Whatever the case, this is definitely a mobile device and not a landline. The are using WhatsApp and texting.
Goes direct to voicemail. Leaves a message without providing the name of the company, but implies I had called them but wasn't able to get through, and they are returning the call.
Kept dialing my home number and all I got were beeps like a fax machine does. It tried every 3 or 4 minutes for over 12 times until I learned how to block that number.
