sent a text saying Citizens Alert. Stated that a device login was attempted from a New IP address in Chicago, IL. Gave a link to click to confirm is was not legitimate activity. I am assuming it's a scam.
This bunch texts from a dozen different numbers. They have been harassing me for 3 years and I can't get it stopped. They try to sell you everything under the sun.
This came as a text saying they are a credit collection agency for Comcast, but my bills are confirmed paid, so I believe this is a scam. The text wants me to call, use a link or reply back STOP.
I answered & could hear someone at other end. After saying hello twice, they didn't answer & as I was about to hang up, they hung up. If it was wrong number, they could at least say so.
201-868-9673 came up as potential spam. Answered it as I was going to mess with them, but after multiple attempts, they said nothing and I hung up after letting them know my phone reported them as potential spam.
