States "This is the Social Security Administration your Social Security Number has been suspended due to some reasons. We require you to call us back at (814)361-8854 and have a nice day."
Caller is a recorded voice named "Joe" representing an employment opportunity based on my activity online. Can't return call. (I love the new approach, "Can you hear me okay?")
Whoever this is has scammed us out of thousands, by promising regular checks coming in! We are pursuing legal action to take them down! I suggest others go after them as well!!
Called with recorded message saying that there was suspicious activity with someone using my social security number. If I wanted additional information to push 1. I hung up.
My Robocaller blocked this call. We live in the Eastern part of the state and this call originates in the North-Western part of the state. We do not know anyone there, especially any supposed doctors. We get many telemarketers originating in our state. I guess they hope we are more likely to answer it because of that.
This number keeps calling and claiming to be from the Social Security Administration, after you answer, a recorded message advises you that you need to call this number immediately because there are fraudulent discrepancies on your social security file. Once you call (and I called several times in different occasions) a middle eastern/Hindu person (Man/Woman) answers and claims to be from the SSA, they act like YOU are calling them to ask for help. I asked why are they were calling me for but never got a straight answer. I advised to stop the callings and if they do so again, I will be forced to file a police report as well as putting a claim with the real Social Security Admin. They usually hang up after they hear this.
Please be aware, don't fall for this sort of scam.
I have not given my phone number to anyone except close family. This was a robocall telling whoever listens that they have won a free stay...somewhere. I deleted the message before listening further.
Person called me today on my cell phone amd said MY cell number came up on their phone. I told them it was not me and if it happens again to report it. The caller rudely hung up on me.
This caller sent a text to and had my name and address in the text. Says they want to purchase my home. My home is not listed for sale.Only contact info is this number. If legitimate would they not give more contact info?
Please be aware, don't fall for this sort of scam.
