This person contacted me on facebook and gave me this number and said that you can claim $100,000 or your share of a grant. They are contacting you and representing themselves as one of your relatives. They are stealing contacts. Beware, SCAM.
Autodial system called five times, kept hitting ignore call and they continued to immediately call again until I finally answered. Spam call asked me if I had received mega millions letter at my address. Told him number on do not call list not to call again. Put them on my block caller list.
Got a call from this number, didn't answer, and don't care enough to dig anymore than I have, however the caller ID said wireless caller but everything online states it's a landline.
Some woman called wanting to speak to the office manager regarding an important legal matter. The caller refused to disclose their name or the name of their supposed firm nor would they allow me to even speak. I tried explaining that my number is a private number and not a business and the woman started screaming at me that I was lying and hindering a legal issue, then hung up. I tried calling the number back and it says it's not a working number.
Calling to report "serious problems with our tax return" and reporting "we will be picked up by the local cops" if we don't return the call. Recorded sentence structure is faulty and the IRS doesn't make phone calls to advise you of a tax concern.
Scammer who tries to buy stuff on Craigslist, sends you a fake check for much more than the purchase price, then wants you to send the excess via western union. Person would not speak to me on the phone. He would text only. He would call and then hang up and hung up when I called him. In my case, he said he wanted to buy something for $400 but sent a fake check for $1200 and wanted me to wire 800 so "movers" could pick up the item. He claimed to be in Georgia which is within driving distance of where I live.
A machine voice claiming the Consortium of Manufacturer's and Reader's Digest is calling to inform me I've won a 2018 Buick and $25 million. Also, a toll-free number (888) 533-8826 was included.
