Offered a low credit card rate of 6%. Ask for type of credit card, credit card number and expiration date. Don't give this caller any of your information.
Message left by "Shauna" from Dr. M***?(mumbled, of course)" asking I call 800-233-3872 immediately, state a reference number she gave and that they were available 24 hours a day. The actual number used to leave this message was 763-274-3899. So, once again, another annoying fake call
Notice of tax complaints filed against me and legal action will be taken against me and police will be called within 24 hours. Total Scam, as my taxes are handled professionally each year and no mention if IRS.
They called twice. A computer generated voice answered and actually left a voice mail saying that there are four legal charges pending against me and that, if I don't call them immediately, the local authorities will arrest me. I called my police officer friend. She looked me up and said I have no charges anywhere. So, I called back. It rang barely a single ring. "Someone" picks up and there's nothing on their end for a full 30 sec. I hung up. Now, I'm wondering, can someone send a virus while I'm engaged in a live connection with them? Creepy.
Caller using multiple numbers and threatening that 'headquarters' has serious tax allegations against person and they'll be arrested. This is not a government IRS office.
I'm receiving calls from this number and several other related numbers (615-455-3141, 615-455-3159, 615-455-3171) and have asked several times to be removed. The callers are phishing for information and I want my these calls to stop.
automated message saying "You have been officially notified, good luck. Have your attorney or legal representation contact us" they gave a file number too
They keep calling my house asking for a different first name but the same last name each time. This is my landline and it's been our family for over 60 years.
They're calling here because the Sailor family lived here at one time but this is not their phone number. I find this very invasive.
I've told them before to stop calling here but they don't.
This number is repeatedly calling my cell. If you call it, a msg. comes on announcing it is a "third party call center, calling about a product order." No one answers the phone, but the msg. asks that you leave your number and the product name. this is most likely a robo-generated call.
Pretending to be "Joe" from Social Security Disability, and wanting to know about payments... It sounds like it's actually a pre-recorded message that wants you to push a button on your phone for the real scam artist to pickup the line, so they can begin their Phishing trip. I know it's a scam because no one in my home is on SSD, SSI or any other form of SS.
This number has called 3 different extensions in our office within the last 20 minutes and it's nothing more than an recording claiming that they are "IBM calling on behalf of" they state our company name "...to check to see if this is still number in use." Our IT department confirms that IBM has nothing to do with our phone systems or numbers.
They know my name and where I live but I have no idea who they are and they are pretending that I am sinking in credit card bills when I don't even have one...they know where I live...
They asked for me by name. After affirming myself, the caller only said the first name. When I politely asked who they were, I was again only told the first name. They said they were personally asking me to vote for someone and asked me for an answer. I gave no answer.
Typical IRS Scam: "You have been .... the IRS ... going to come get you if you don't call this number."
I called. And called. And called. And harassed them grieviously until they put their supervisor on, who denied anything to do with the scam he, the Jefe', has set up. He is using multiple lines but only one outgoing "line" that I can tell, it may be spoofed.
Call regarding insurance that I was informed was about to expire. She had my home address, called my cell, yet asked for my husband. She said it was related to insurance about his "union" which was odd & we've never been called about our insurance. Scam for sure. When I confronted her that I thought it was a scam, she was rude & said I had issues.
My daughter got a call from this number that freaked her out. It was a automated call saying there was a warrant out for her arrest because of tax fraud. They stated they were calling from the United States IRS.
Impersonating IRS Agent, used name "David Miller", in thick Middle-Eastern accent. Gave phony IRS badge number IRA-6396 (IRS badge numbers are 10 digits). Will demand prepaid debit card or wire, or "Criminal Charges of Tax Fraud and Tax Evasion", "A lawsuit has already been filed and will give you 'details'". Even gave a phone CASE ID# DC184-1995.
computer generated voice left message to call immediately to prevent being taken into custody by local police due to "four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment"
When I answered she started asking me personal data questions. I asked why and she said it was a personal matter. Then I told if she won't say who she is or what compant she is calling from I'm hanging up. She wouldn't say, just kept asking questions. Hung up.
Received a call from this number at 5:48 PM May 10th 2018. After I answered the phone a recording sound “beeped†on my phone indicating that they were recording me, I knew it was schektchy. Went to search the number to find out who is trying to steal information and cannot find a source. Stop this number.
Electronic voice - calling about car maintenance warranty expiring. I do not have a car maintenance warranty with this person or whatever business he was trying to represent.
I believe this phone number is associated with an out of country pharmaceutical company that is scamming customers. I have asked them to stop calling, and they continue every 2 weeks, always with a new number from a different area.
called my cell phone 4 times today - never leave a message. I tried calling the number from my landline work phone; get a recorded message as follows, "Thank you for calling. All calls are recorded for quality and training purposes. Please hold for the next available representative ..." then after 37 seconds from the start of your call it disconnects. tried 3 times - same results.
caller said he was from consumer protection agency and that he was notifying us that we had not collected our 750.000.00 dollars in prize money from American sweepstakes. Caller said we only had until 5 pm to claim this prize he gave me a number to call and a claim number I tried the number but got no answer the number was 866-241-2143 He was calling from 347-391-3628. I tnink this is a big scam but he asked for no money and gave me a claim number of 3718-4289-6106
Recording reporting there were 4 warrants or legal matters pending in my name with a NYS police dept and to call back immediately. Don’t live in NY and have never been in said town.
They're calling here because the Sailor family lived here at one time but this is not their phone number. I find this very invasive.
I've told them before to stop calling here but they don't.
Calls multiple times/day from different numbers
I called. And called. And called. And harassed them grieviously until they put their supervisor on, who denied anything to do with the scam he, the Jefe', has set up. He is using multiple lines but only one outgoing "line" that I can tell, it may be spoofed.
