She called speaking very broken english....can't be her first language, saying that I won $9,200 dollars...I believe she said from the irs. She was asking personal information and gave me a grant id number, out of the blue it doesn't make sense. The number that showed up on my caller Id is 300-000-1111, then she told me to call 202-600-9829. She is not listed anywhere except for on forums of other people she has called. I wish whomever this is would stop trying to scam people. I wish I knew who she was and couldn't hide behind anonymity.

Claims to be collector with Comcast. Sounds like someone on a home phone. Suspect possible scam with intercepted mailed bills for identify theft purposes but this is not confirmed.
The caller will say they are with a State Locators office, they will not identify their true company name. They will call and try to use legal jargon to obtain information from you. If you push for their company name or address they become combative and threaten you over the phone.
