This person scammed me for $150 at the Metro Center Metro on Thursday, July 5th saying she was in an accident and needed to get home to LaPlata, Maryland. She said she had just moved from Atlanta , Georgia to work for the Department of Commerce. The telephone number she gave me is 571-296-3544 and the address was 1785 New York Ave., NW 20004. The phone number is assigned to someone in Arlington, VA, but no one answers. I should have known better to fall for a sob story.
WHOA! Please disregard my previous complaint. The phone number shown on this form is NOT the phone number I put into the lookup!. How did that happen? My apologies to the person 407-875-0867 belongs to. I did not see this error until my posting went through! That was weird!
Asumed scammer/fraudster! This man was taking his young daughter door-to-door supposedly selling fund raiser items for the child's cheerleading squad. He stated they would not take a check and while I feared this was a scam, I wanted to believe that with the child present, it was legit. He gave me this name and phone number to call him in 2 weeks to find out when the item I purchased (for $10), would be delivered. I have left two messages on this number, but of course, no one has called back. I am afraid I've been taken!
Texted my phone as well as called but refuses to answer back through text who the number belongs to as well as will not pick up the phone when I call back
This caller identified himself as "Jack, calling from Medical Compensation". He claimed that his records showed I had surgery and was entitled to medical compensation. I'm in CT and he's in IL. He wouldn't give a specific company name and, HOW in the world does he have records on me when his phone is a cell #?? SCAM!!

This is more of a complaint, rahter than a comment. I received calls from this number at 4:30 AM, several times and kept waking up my family. Went to voicemail. However, they did not leave a message.
