Received a call from this number this morning within 25 minutes of each other. When called back, the phone was answered, "Hello, this is Kim."
I don't know a Kim, or this phone number.
Called at 3:34 AM and hung up when I answered. Called again at 3:37 AM. I did not answer. I will block this number. I got up to check out the number. Now, can I get back to sleep.
I have also recieved calls from them claiming some sort of legal action and claiming I had a phone deposition. I am informed to contact "David Hamilton". I will not be calling back. First of all, the fact that I have recieved nothing by mail is a red flag. Second of all, recieving or making unsolicited or unrequested phone calls are not legally binding. Therefor, since I have neither requested or agreed to a phone conversation, I am not in violation of anything by refusing to take their calls or refusing to call them back. Finally, if they are taking legal action, it is my right to be notified in writing. Any legal action taken against me without this proper notification can easily be contested. My advice to anyone getting calls of these types is to know your rights!
I received a bunch of text messages from a random number with a 173 area code talking all sorts of trash and saying they knew where I lived. Shorty after that I received multiply calls from this landline but they wouldn't say anything. I tried calling it back several times and they just answer and hang up.
This could be another time-share scammer. I've been bothered by several recently. There is no free public information about who owns this number or where they are located, so it seems like a red flag to me. Could be wrong, but I don't think so.
I got a call from this number and it was a girl crying who said my name and said she was pregnant with my kid glad to know other people are getting prank calls from this number
called and told my sick mother i was in jail and that she can pay over the phone to bail me out just give the cfolling case nuber and your credit card information to the next operator that picks -up.
Received a strange text message referring to people unfamiliar to me. Didn't want to respond for fear of spam/phising, though they didn't ask for any information... yet.
It gave me a ten digit code without warning to get a pencil or anything and required I call back. When I called back it asked either for the code or specifically for my Verizon Wireless number, which implied to me it might be bill related. I entered my phone number, and it said "sorry you are having difficulty" and hung up on me. I tried to call again and punch through at it said you cannot talk with a person without a successful code entry.
I looked up Microsoft support on google and got this scam group. They charged me $179 for one year support. They downloaded to my computer what turns out to be an unauthorized windows 7 software. When I tried to upgrade it to windows 7 pro, it wouldn't work.
Today they just called me on my cell (ID showed call from number 0000123456!)
They told me this "new" number as the support site. The other one they gave me hasn't worked for months.
This is a fax number that appeared on my bill when I ordered from HairlossGenerics. I never received what they promised, nor there is a way to contact them. This phone number is related with SCAM.
Caller calls back to back. You hang up, he calls back. He uses foul language and name calls. He is definitely harassing, and we have filed a police report.
