They called saying they were gonna show up to give me sealed documents that required my signature. Said if I wasn't home tomorrow 8/9/23 they would be making more unannounced visits. Pretty sure if they are debt collectors that's an illegal practice
I don't know what this number is, because I refuse to answer numbers if I don't recognize them, or if there is no Caller ID on my land-line, or if they are not in my cell phone Contact list. Basically, if I don't know who it is, why the heck should I waste my time talking to them?
The really obnoxious part is that SOMEONE has either been careless, or has deliberately sold my number, because my land-line number is unlisted, and especially, I don't give out my cell phone number unless absolutely necessary.
This call wants me to contact for a supposed process server to serve me papers. I have no court actions pending, and have received no information of any kind. I suspect a scammer.
Hangup call where the caller ID just said "CARNEGIE PA". When I got home and looked the # up? First hit on Google was a site like this one, flagging it as being some sort of life insurance telemarketing robocall....
Robocall message left on voicemail about credit card debt relief (which I do NOT need, than you VERY much). Message did NOT give the name of the company. Guessing a scam.
Wife asked (via text) "who are you looking for?"
They replied, "You, but we got it, will be sending proof before going over the books." Wrong number or phishing?
