They on/two ring you in hopes you call back. If you call back it's a recording saying you were contacted since you were on one of their affiliated websites and they have a gift card for you. That's when I hung up.
Do not respond! This is a scam! Stated they were publishers clearing house and needed a prepaid vanilla card charged to pay for delivery of vehicle. Pch was contacted and this us a serious scam!!!! Warning
Wanting to sell you medical equipment, needed your medicare card number first. Caller said that either you had to give them the card number then or you would not be eligible for the discount later. (A pressure type sales "Scam")
Calls my phone every night after 6pm, you can hear someone or many people in the background, then hangs up. this has been going on for almost a month now
unsolicited phone call at 738PM...asked for a male name who does not live at this number...when told that he had the wrong number, the caller said "no i have the right number just the wrong name"...i said "no you have the wrong number" and hung up
Irritating. They call and then when you answer, they hang up. You try to call back and it says please stay on the line, someone will be with you shortly. Then it goes to a busy signal. This is very irritating!
Caller in broken English, calls and tells me I have been approved for a government grant of 8400.00. Will deposit it in 45 min to my bank accout, saving or checking,or on a card,wal-mart, green dot card,or bank card. I feel like it was a scam. main reason is I have never heard of the US. government calling people to tell them they were given a grant that they didn't apply for. Another reason is he called me by my middle name and all legit calls such as this would ask for me by my first name and last.I would hope that they could get someone who spoke clearly and would call from a land line not a cell phone. If I am wrong do I have egg on my face, but I think I just kept from having a lot of trouble.
Caller is calling and making fart noises from this number. please have them stop..this isn't funny and i will file with the police if this doens't stop.
Wanted me to open Windows on my computer so that he could walk me through a procedure to "speed up the performance" of the computer. He knew my last name and had a thick, foreign accent, possibly of Indian or Middle Eastern descent. I live in a diverse multicultural state and am very familiar with a multitude of accents. This the second time I have received this type of call in the past 9 months.
No call list.
