Scammer calling for personal information and identifying themselves as FBI, and threatening that legal action will be pursued if victim does not comply.
(Recited as if reading in a thick Indian accent): "This message is intended for Aresh. My name is Jordan Smith and I am from Internal Revenue Service IRS Department. There is a legal arrest warrant that's been issued against your name and your physical address is under Federal Investigation so please call us back as soon as possible. Call back number is 2-0-6, 4-3-6, 4-9-1-1. Thank you and goodbye."
Curious as to why an unknown female using this phone number called me last week wanting to know if my husband, Ron, went to Roundhead. I can only assume they were speaking of a school but maybe they were inquiring about being up around Roundhead at Indian Lake. Also curious as to how this person found our name and phone number.
The caller said he was from the IRS and had received legal papers about tax fraud. He said his name is Thomas Steel and badge # IS147071. He also said he had sent letters to my address and they had been returned to IRS. Said police would be coming to my house to arrest my husband. This guy refused to give confidential information to me-said could only talk to my husband.
Called my cell phone yesterday, on Mother's Day. Left no message. Just looked it up, from Dade County Fla. I live in Ohio. I blocked it from my Verizon number. If you have Verizon's service just google block number on Verizon. Very easy to do.
This number has phoned me a dozen times in the last month. When I answer, it is dead... no signal, no voice, no robotic voice, no recording ... for about 3-5 seconds and then a hang up... Very curious...
I ordered product from this company. They took my money, but will not return e-mails or phone calls. All I want is my money back or the product I ordered.
Claiming they were law officers/would not id what county or state and claiming that there was a warrant for my husband, who has cancer and said they could fix it for him! We told them if they call again and we would call the REAL police.
Received call from a Michael Lopez and a Jason Carter claiming they were calling from FPL saying we would have a service interruption within an hour if we didn't pay them $1,400.35. via 3 Money Pak Scratch-off cards and calling them back with the information. Do not fall for this. IT IS A SCAM!!! FPL would never call asking for payment via scratch off cards! IT IS A SCAM!!!
This person who owns this phone has been harassing me for the past 2 days. He has told me to skip a meal and I will thank him and is telling me about my family. Frankly this is criminal and very creepy. He calls and plays music and then texts non stop asking about your mother father children and sisters all by name claiming his name is Cedereick.
