I am trying to find out who this is. I own a business and they are texting me wanting me to send them products and he will send me a cashiers check. After I told him I only take credit cards he keeps texting wanting to send a check.
Please assist me in stopping this call from coming through. They call me about six times a day from 425-336-8130 and do not answer when I pick up and do not leave a voice mail, either.
hey how r u i live all the way on ontario, canada and this number 1-530-619-3038 keeps calling askin if im here (my name) and askes if im sitting near my computer and its a indian sounding kinda guy like apu from the kwik e mart from the simpsons but a stronger accent and ts annoying
i haven't answered it yet either, but calls me about 2 times a week and never leaves a message...if it was important, they would leave a message. grrrrrrr
When tried calling the number was directed that the number was no longer in service. Received a text at 10:59 p.m. and called the next day at 8:30 a.m. Collector or scammer?
When I answered an automated voice said goodbye. When I called back the message said it was WN Division - a job placement firm... asked to have me input my phone number to have it removed.
The male who used this number claimed to be from Publisher's Clearinghouse calling to inform me that I had won a large cash prize and a new car. I was suspicious to start with and when he asked form my age and I asked why he needed that information he gave an evasive answer. When I didn't give him a direct answer, the caller hung up. I used this website to reverse search the number and it came up with a cell phone originating from Kinston, JM.
I don't know who this is, but I received a text message from this number on 2/19/13 reading:
HaHa Pat [shortened URL omitted]
I used longurl.org to expand the URL without viewing it (just in case it was a malicious site), and it was one of those "Mom earns $7k a month sitting on her ass at home" scams.
I'm in MI, and this number is registered from Louisville, KY. I don't know anyone there. My cell number is public for business purposes, so anyone could have gotten it. But whoever this is is using first names to make it seem like it's someone you know (and therefore more likely to click the link), and then obfuscating the URL so you don't know where you're going.
The owner of this phone number is a hacker who takes down websites and says to contact him to have it put back up, then extorts the victims for cash in order to have it restored.
This number has been calling for months. If I answer, they hang up. If I let the call go to voicemail, they don't leave a message. Similar reports on other sites about this number as well.
I do believe this individual is sending out emails to little home companies to obtain products. The email I received is requesting that I purchase a order for $500 in products, that I sell, and they will send me a check to my home address. No PO box! Or they will transfer money to my account, not that I am stupid enough to give that information out. However, I do believe this is a scam.
Called me at 6:30 a.m. telling me they had a package for me....that my "associate" Kelly Ellis left my phone # as a back-up. I've never known anyone in my life with the name "Kelly". I'm a retired grandmother and I certainly don't order packages from Gualala, CA
