Got a call but when I answered they hung up.

Whoever this person or persons are, we have received two (2) phone calls, one early this am and one this evening. No one answers our hello and after a length of time, we hear a click as in a hangup. This is very annoying to say the least! Don't call if you can't or won't identify yourself.

I want to know who this is. I received 4 calls between 2:59am and 3:21am.

I have been getting prank calls from this phone number for the past month. He has left obscene messages on my answering machine and my children have heard several of them. He also has been calling my husband gay and continues to call in all hours of the day and evening. What can I do to stop this caller from continuing to make prank calls on others.

Received call today from 312.775.1287 caller ID IPSOS. Googled name and discovered IPSOS is a Market research company based in Paris, France. Why would they call me at 7:17pm on a Friday night (3 rings)- not enough time to activate answering machine either? I'm on national do not call list, pay for an unlisted number and call blocker. Whiy is this allowed? I left a comment to update circumstances. WAMU does not exist anymore and in 2009 they may have owned this number or used the services from this company- not sure who's calling, nor do I care. This is a Chicago, Illiinois based area code. Lately, according to other posts, 312.775.1289 has been linked to a survey group working for Blue Cross/Blue Shield. SURVEYS NEED TO BE BLOCKED TOO! MY PRIVATE TIME BEGINS AT 6PM DO NOT CALL ME ABOUT ANYTHING GOING ON IN THE WORLD, I FRANKLY DON'T CARE TO HELP ANYONE AFTER 6PM!!!

I just got this phone call from a person pretending to be from Microsoft, his phone number is 1-206-456-0661

This person called me on 02/14/2012 at 9:46am. He told me I won $250,000.00 from the Power Ball Sweepstakes Lottery. I asked him how I won and he said it was because I paid my bills and mortgage on time and I shopped at Walmart. I thought to myself, hmmmmm. He gave my address as my old address and I said "ok". He told me that a person would be coming to my house with confirmation of the winning and I would have to show confirmation of who I was. He asked if I had identification and drivers license and I said yes. He then asked if I lived near a Walmart and I said yes. He told me I would need to go to Walmart and purchase a $200.00 money pack scratch card. Then when the person came to my house to deliver the $250,000.00, I was to give the person the $200.00 pack scratch card. I then told him that I felt that when one wins money, one shouldn't have to pay money to get the winnings. I told him I wasn't interested.

Phishing calls from this site stating my debit card at my bank has been found. I don't have a debit card.

Not sure where this company obtained my cell phone number, but I detest the fact that they send out spam text messages to my phone. I feel there should be some limit as to how these "pain in the rear" companies can get their message out and sending text messages should not be one of them. If this is how they are allowed to do this, they should have to pay for both ways. To send it and for someone to receive it. The receivers' plan should charge them to do that. Especially when one has a phone plan that limits the number of text messages per month.

This was a robo-call that sounded very human at first, but when I asked questions, it hung up on me. It asked if I was interested in a free system for putting a sign in my yard. I said "maybe". It said a company rep would be calling me and asked for my name. I gave my name (which I am now regretting). Anyone else know info about the company?
