They say they are offering you a free home security system if you allow them to put a sign in your yard and that they need to have someone come to your home to determine what system works best for you. What they are really trying to do is get someone in your home to case it for a future robbery.
Auto dialer with recorded message wanting to put a sign in my yard. I reported them to the FTC as the number they called is on the do not call list and an auto dialer with message. Two incidents that FTC frowns upon.

Trying to say I am going to be taken to court. I don't owe who they are saying I owe. I talked to the people I owe and I know they are lying to get money. As much as I have been through in the last two years I don't appreciate it. I lost my daughter in 2010 and my job. They are going to be investigated because I am not going to be threatened to be taken to court.
Text Message that cost me $! Claims I've been selected to receive a FREE Apple iPad and to go to www.iPadGiftLink.com within 48 hours to claim gift. I am on the National Do Not Call Registry yet still this Text came through to my cell phone.I believe it to be a Phishing Scam, could be looking to commit identity theft or something similar. Please investigate and stop this, or prosecute if you can take legal action! Thanks for asking.
Using different phone numbers - same company. Trying to sell time shares. Have told several times not interested & they still call. All times of the day. Beware.
Same experience here- calls day and night- probably 4-5 times a day. How do you get rid of someone like this? I too do not answer numbers I do not know.
Someone from this number telephone my cell phone and then hung up. When I return the phone call to that number I get a busy signal and cannot get through.
I'm guessing this annoying caller is a telemarketer but they don't leave a messabe and continue to hide behind the "unpublished" banner so that I cannot tell who it is
spam by text - "Do you have trouble paying your mortgage?" blah blah blah. All results so far point to a mobile # in Anaheim, CA, but no other details are findable without paying.
I got a several calls from this number claiming there was a virus on my computer. This is quite amusing as there are no computers at the location of the phone.
These people call asking you to conform your address and then state they have a large sum of money for you. They then start asking for personal information such as banking and social security.
