We got this call at work today around 8:30 am. This guy started asking me all sorts of personal questions, totally not related to work at all. He got really personal and I just hung up. He's called back a couple of times, but I let it go to our voice mail.
Called my cell phone and when I answer some automated message says "goodbye" and hangs up. I call back and it's busy. Calls my phone about 3 times a day.
Something about Global Auto Registry? Something about spending $300 and one of their client's will buy my car? I do have my car for sale, but it sounds fishy!
They keep asking for my father, but he past away last year - I don't like these people at all and told them to remove the number and then they hang up!
His is really strange, but this number keeps calling and I have no idea who it is. I'm afraid to call back, I think it isn't legit. Sometimes when I answer, there is only loud music and mumbled voices in the background, one time a guy did speak, but in spanish! I'm getting sick of these calls!
Caller said she was from Citibank, and then wanted to know who she was calling! I said well, you called me, you should know - she practically started yelling at me that my credit will be ruined if I didn't handle this matter. I just hung up on her. I don't even have a Citibank credit card.
Some guy named Rich Thomas left a message on my cell phone to call him back at (908) 372-2640. I thought is was an old friend, but he just said he misdialed.
I was selling my laptop on Craigslist and got an email with this phone number - it's a scam, as the email said that he was in Seattle, but I needed to ship to Africa? Must be a scam or something.
This number called me regarding a car warranty, asking me to press 1 to speak to a representative. I did just to tell them to take me off the call list and the guy hung up on me. When I called the number back it was disconnetcted.
My caller id displayed: 527-454-550965, some guy speaking in Spanish, which I didn't understand. I kept yelling louder and louder at him "no espanol", I don't know why I got so loud! So, I just hung up.
