Message said to call because my “card” was deactivated. Mentioned no specifics about what card, and no company name was given when I called the number. Just prompted caller to press #1 to reactivate card.
This number is being used to scam my senior adult money from his social security check money. They pretend to be romantically interested at first and then ask for gift cards to help with various life crisis they are facing.
Supposedly a FAX number for Settlement administrator of class action lawsuit against Johnson Controls INC (JCI) regarding manufacturing of faulty HVAC units. Sent FAX on 08/23/22. Received no response. Probably a scam.
Sells puppies that don't exist. Will ask for 50 as a reservation for the puppy. Then when the time comes for the puppy, you never hear from them again.
Person calls me. I answer. They ask me who I am. I didn't answer, but countered with, "Who are you?"; after all, they called me, not the other way around. They responded they have a number with the last 4 digits of my phone number. (This means nothing to me and I don't know this person) I truthfully answered I do not recall calling anyone today. (Truth) I have no idea who they are, but that a weird way to call someone and then ask "who are you" when they are the ones that called. Suspect a scammer, but unsure.
Suspect fraud. Caller claimed to be a process service dispatcher looking to deliver papers to a relative, per her maiden name. She's been married for about 15 years.
I kept getting missed calls from Liberty Mutual on my phone - I do not do business with them so I finally answered and a very hard-to-understand possibly indian accent man answered and babbled something about a pharmacy and filling prescriptions and needing info. I laughed and said "NO you come up as Liberty Mutual You're obviously scamming" and they hungup.
