From what I looked up it's AT&T. They start calling pretty early before you have to pay your monthly bill and that's what it is glad I could clear this up for you folks.
Someone called from this number and said they were from Amazon who said there were fraudulent purchase attempts on my account. Then said they were going to transfer me to my bank and then my "bank" said they were going to send me to the Federal Treasury Dept. When the "Federal Treasury Dept" came on the line they said my identity had been compromised and my they needed to "retire" my SSN. I said no and then they said a sheriff would be at my house in 30 minutes, which of course, never happend.
Called me very early in the morning. Number was unfamiliar to me. When I called back, I got texts from phone number harassing me. I blocked the number.
Call about 15-20 times in a row, thank God for spam blocker. Called them back while blocking my caller ID using *67 prefix and an automated answer machine picked up and asked if I was interested in solar panels. This is not the first time they've called. They generally call more than 15 times in a row. Can't imagine this company is legit. If it is they are very desperate. If they truly are legit they should not annoy the crap out of people.
Impersonating IRS and attempting to collect social security number, full name, address, and DOB. Report immediately if you received any contact from this number.
I am on the do not call registry.
Don't have any debt or owe anyone money. Peculiar to say the least....annoying.
LONG LIVE THE PATRIARCHY!!!!
