Claims to collect for police fund. Asks for credit card information. Initially said they would send a package. Asked for address, BUT also asked occupation and place of employment. Rushed off phone when tried to get more information. Tried to call back, only provides message, stating “Fundraising Center”. I don’t think this is a legitimate operation and I think they got me before I realized it.
Called from # 779-292-3118, left a voicemail to call back # 717-946-9117. Called it and it takes you to an automated pre-recorded phone call simulation with "Mike" who is looking up your "account" and says the phone call must be related to 1 of 3 issues: high debt-to-income ratio, high interest rates on your credit card, or a late or missed payment.
Spam call. Scam, as I have no account like that. Using a phone number generator to call you and telling you to call back a specific phone number to try to get you to no doubtedly pay money for something or another.
Many repeated calls to join a Facetime. As fast as I could block the numbers, they added MORE and kept calling for over 30 minutes!! Then started again 3 hours later!!
Looks like this number is fraudster abusing people all around the world.
Thanks and regards,
