This company keeps calling with various different numbers and begins the call with "ni hao" as their greeting. They continue the recorded call in Chinese. They have called me using several different numbers and would like to be off of their list. I don't speak Chinese!
Had a missed call, called back first time I heard "she it must be..." and then they hung up. The second time I called back the woman denied calling me completely.
Caller stated that she was calling from the State regarding the mayor. I asked who she represented and she continued to say the state. I told her my number is on the Do not call list, she stated that DNC does not apply to them. I told her I wasn't interested in a survey to answer questions about the mayor of Chicago.
This number called and tried to threaten me with a summons if I didn’t provide information regarding who I was. No legitimate business works this way . Oh and the person started yelling at me after I threated to report them .
This number came up from Washington DC. Recorded caller says they are IRS and that i am being investigated for tax fraud. Was told to call this number back. Called number back & recording says an error has been made& was being forwarded.
They claim your doctor ordered medical equipment and they want your shipping address. But when you ask which doctor, they ask for a lot of personal information, like last 4 digits of your social, last name, etc.
Someone who identified herself as Ruby Scott and who did not identify what company she represents made a threatening call to my number and requested that I call back at 844-307-7605.
Caller I.D. identified this number as belonging to "Melissa Michelse." I wasn't able to hear her well, but she first identified herself as someone associated with something sounding to me like Harmony Clinic, and asked me: "Are you the Medicare recipient?" She hung up and did not call back when I asked what she was calling about. This leads me to believe she was involved in something not wholly reputable, but she might well have only been a telemarketer who got a bit thrown off by my aggressive answer to her question.
I received a phone call from this guy claiming he was from Health and Human Services giving me a grant number to received a federal grant in the amount of $9700 from the federal government.
Possibly, but I get 2 calls a day, every flipping day. It's a (accented voice) recording if I call back. I will not call it anymore and I refuse to answer.
Offered a low credit card rate of 6%. Ask for type of credit card, credit card number and expiration date. Don't give this caller any of your information.
Message left by "Shauna" from Dr. M***?(mumbled, of course)" asking I call 800-233-3872 immediately, state a reference number she gave and that they were available 24 hours a day. The actual number used to leave this message was 763-274-3899. So, once again, another annoying fake call
Notice of tax complaints filed against me and legal action will be taken against me and police will be called within 24 hours. Total Scam, as my taxes are handled professionally each year and no mention if IRS.
They called twice. A computer generated voice answered and actually left a voice mail saying that there are four legal charges pending against me and that, if I don't call them immediately, the local authorities will arrest me. I called my police officer friend. She looked me up and said I have no charges anywhere. So, I called back. It rang barely a single ring. "Someone" picks up and there's nothing on their end for a full 30 sec. I hung up. Now, I'm wondering, can someone send a virus while I'm engaged in a live connection with them? Creepy.
Caller using multiple numbers and threatening that 'headquarters' has serious tax allegations against person and they'll be arrested. This is not a government IRS office.
I'm receiving calls from this number and several other related numbers (615-455-3141, 615-455-3159, 615-455-3171) and have asked several times to be removed. The callers are phishing for information and I want my these calls to stop.
automated message saying "You have been officially notified, good luck. Have your attorney or legal representation contact us" they gave a file number too
They keep calling my house asking for a different first name but the same last name each time. This is my landline and it's been our family for over 60 years.
They're calling here because the Sailor family lived here at one time but this is not their phone number. I find this very invasive.
I've told them before to stop calling here but they don't.
This number is repeatedly calling my cell. If you call it, a msg. comes on announcing it is a "third party call center, calling about a product order." No one answers the phone, but the msg. asks that you leave your number and the product name. this is most likely a robo-generated call.
Pretending to be "Joe" from Social Security Disability, and wanting to know about payments... It sounds like it's actually a pre-recorded message that wants you to push a button on your phone for the real scam artist to pickup the line, so they can begin their Phishing trip. I know it's a scam because no one in my home is on SSD, SSI or any other form of SS.
This number has called 3 different extensions in our office within the last 20 minutes and it's nothing more than an recording claiming that they are "IBM calling on behalf of" they state our company name "...to check to see if this is still number in use." Our IT department confirms that IBM has nothing to do with our phone systems or numbers.
Block this number
