Claimed I have been awarded a grant for good citizenship. I was told I haven't broken any laws in the last 6 months so the Govt wants to award me a grant of $6,700.00. All I needed to do was pay a "registration fee." I laughed and hung up. I suppose there are some who are dumb enough to fall for this. After all, Donald Trump was elected recently. Some people will believe anything!
Called and claimed (in terrible broken English) that a Law suit had been "filled" against me for tax evasion. I was instructed to call back the second I got the in-coming call to this #. Obviously a scam.
Called. Scam. Don't abode by do not call law. Complaints in Sept 2011 ranged from (mostly) stating you won an all paid vacation, one said pay day loan, & one said fowl mouth from Duncan Construction. Call is from a cell phone from Columbus, OH.
Computerized voice message claiming to be IRS. Didn't say to whom call was intended. Just said they had arrest charges against me and I had to call immediately. Called from 206-209-1648 and said to call back immediately at 206-209-1633.
They call our office 5-6 times a day. They don't answer when you pick up the phone about 90% of the time. They always ask for a different agent in our office. They told the last agent they were from the Insurance Journal.
Area code 951 is California:
Banning, Beaumont, Corona, Hemet, Mira Loma, Moreno Valley, Murrieta, Norco, Perris, Riverside, Rubidoux, San Jacinto, Sun City, Temecula, Wildoma
Of course this is nothing but a scam. You never give to anyone unless you can verify it's legit yourself.
Call came as Hemet Calif. on caller ID. Man who spoke after a noise long tune to turn off the robo call....he came on thinking I answered the phone & says "This is Ray Cruse-it" (spelled it that way so you pronounce name), "how are you today...........are you still there?"
Another web, their complaints say caller wants your credit card for money for the firemen, police, some say they were told the call is from National Patrolmen's Assoc.
Person claims to be with the US Navy but I'm still receiving scam or hacking breaches in my phone and software or game apps every time I talk to this number
Called my cell phone. One place says this is a cell phone number & another web says this is a land line. It`s illegal in my state for a company to place soliciting phone calls to a cell phone without written permission from the cell phone holder & no business has that from me because I will not give my cell phone number out to businesses. On another web, there are 2 people complaining the caller calls multiple times to them & doesn`t speak. That makes this a scam. Cell phone is from Dayton Ohio while person lives in Greene County. Montgomery county is where Dayton is
Beware calls from this number as they are looking for information by telling you that you have been hacked by Russians. They are deceivers and very bad people.
Complaint: Unknown caller rang up my phone Friday Nov. 11 2016. Been getting suspicious calls from suspicious calls like this. Concerned about them being scammers fraudsters "Dirty Dozen" charlatans.
I do not have my electric service through OG&E but I received a recorded message supposedly from them stating "It's very important that you contact OG&E regarding your electric account as soon as possible. You may be able to avoid certain fees by contacting OG&E customer service at 272-9741 or from outside the Oklahoma City area please call 1-800-272-9741. You can access our automated system 24 hours a day to speak with a customer service representative. please call between 8 AM and 5 PM Monday through Friday..."
I live in Northern Virginia, and I have never seen this number before. I don't know why I was being called from Georgia, so I hesitated too long to pick up. When I tried to message them, they would not respond.
