They have called 4 times in the last two days and when I finally spoke to someone they said "this isn't a sales call, it is just a courtesy call about your VA loan" UMM Yeah, the only company I want to talk to about my loan is MY loan company.
someone has been leaving threatening voicemails for me saying they are going to do hurt me. Don't know anyone in this area or really that much in Chicago
Got about 4 or 5 calls from this #. Called back and got a bill collector looking for someone else apparently at my #. Stated she would remove # from the records...we'll see!
Rirst time a man wanted me to call him back saying my number called his and now a lady left two messages claiming that my number called hers, I did not call this number.
I got a call today as well. Wanting me to go to flashmarket and he would give me directions of what to do when I got there. He told me not to call West Union Bank, because they would make me pay more than $200.
Person called me today on my work phone, called me by name and said he had good news and was calling from Dominican Republic. I hung up on him, then they called my cell immediately after.
Next time, I'll blow the persons ear drum with a blast from an air horn into the phone! That will teach them.
This is a scam, confirmed by BoA, that attempts to extract personal information presumably for the purpose of ID fraud/theft. They claim to be collecting a delinquent payment. BoA confirmed that they never cold call for this, they have no record of the number or calls, and, in my case, I have absolutely no delinquent accounts. Be warned!! Do not give them many information of any kind. They will call numerous times a day to scare people into giving information. That's their tactic, don't fall for it. Any attempts to reverse look up the number comes up blank, definitely not the way BoA conducts business.
We are on the DO NOT CALL LIST. We get at least one call a day from marketers trying to sell electric service alternatives to PECO. The calls always come from UNAVAILABLE numbers. Why do you want to call people if you don't want anyone to call you?
The person identified himself as Officer Kevin sebastian with an East Indian accent. Said he was from the Tax Crime Investigation Unit of IRS. He stated he received a legal affidavit against our name for outstanding tax liabilities and will proceed with legal action against us. Told to call him back at 818-483-9107. Stated he has been trying to reach us for months and months without effect and we must not ignore this phone call. Obvious telephone fraud
I keep getting unsolicited calls from this party on my brand new, unpublished phone number, which is used only to receive faxes. Apparently a telemarketer or robo call scammer.
Not sure who this is or what they want, but it is just plain annoying to get to the phone only to have them click off as soon as you say "HELLO". Makes me wonder if this is some sort of canvassing to see if anyone is home. An ideas???
This person called me trying to get information on my vehicle as the warranty was up, very shady. I told him he was wrong and he promptly hung up on me. This was no doubt someone trying to get information for malicious purposes.
