Unsolicited calls about "job opportunities". The calls usually occur a few minutes after I update a resume I have posted on Monster.com. Caller always has a heavy middle-eastern accent and jobs are always in life insurance sales, in which I have absolutely zero experience.
The Caller ID says the call is from the UN, then some chick with a heavy accent tells me how my Windows 7 computer has accessed a web site with malware on it (ID'd by my IP address). When pressed for my IP address, she didn't have the info, so before the spiel about opening up my PC for cleaning or asking for my account number, I hung up. Dumb*** called back immediately until I threatened to record the conversation. Nice try.
Received a call from this number from a women asking for my daughter who is 16. Said she was sleeping with her husband sounded drunk and rambling then said sleping with her boyfriend. This is not funny will be taking action to have something done about this.
This person is trying to collect on an old hospital bill from 2006. I paid the bill then. I found out it is a voip phone number and the zip code is 75285.
They call relatives and leave their number, they tell relatives and friends you are being investigated for fraud, but they will not call you directly, but when you call them, they can say you solicited them.
someone called me and asked me for my name. I asked the person's name and he/she never replied. I tried calling him/her and he/she picked up the 1st time and hung up and 2nd time they never answered.
someone from this number calls my phone many times during the day asking for someone I do not even know...they leave a message saying this is so and so and this message is for so and so if you are not this person do not listen to the following message...well I am not that person so I hang up...you would think that since no one answers or calls back they would STOP but they persist
Repeat unsolicited calls and if I answer the phone, they are vague and ask for personal information, including social security numbers. Avoid this number!
