Received a call from this number claiming to have my lost watch. The watch was listed in the paper and this person would not provide any information other than his name. Would not provide a serial number of the item or provide a description.
Received repeated calls from this number, the first time stated wrong number. Has called a couple of times since, won't reply to my hello, however I can hear breathing into the phone.
This person managed to get hold of my credit card # by fraudulent means (no idea how!) and used it to charge services. Interestingly, both her address and email showed up on the charge, so she's not very bright.
claimed to be a Private Investagator but wouldn't give the name of the company worked for . I asked for a copy of the statement to be emailed to me so that I could verify if this was a scam or for real as the item brought up supposedly happened 7 years ago, I was told that she would only do that after I made a $200 payment. Sounds fishy.
This number has been calling my home never leaves a message and when I call back says phone number is unavailable. This past week someone purchased video game equipment with my debit card. I have gotten a few calls people pretending to be from medical supply companies trying to get my social security number
This same person called me today. Talks with a foreign accent. He said he was with the US Government and I was selected for a grant. When I said that is it sounded like a scam to me and please remove my number, he said that he just wanted to have sex with me. Makes me furious!!
When answered the man asked for my husband by his first name. Very strong accent. When asked what this was in reference to, he simply hung up. I called my husband and had him notify all our credit cards of some type of potential fraud.
this company calls me everyday at any hours they choose. It is suppose to be a carpet cleaning company, but I feel it is not only a scam but a nuisance.
From Facebook: Facebook Friends BEWARE!!!!! I received a phone call today from someone claiming they had a package to deliver between 7-9 p.m. that needed to be signed for. The caller mentioned and affidavit from the Department of Legal Services. Needless to say, this alerted me because I have no pending litigation and of course she couldn't tell me about it but there was a phone number she could give me. PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE tell your family members especially anyone elderly! They sound so official but they are not - it is a SCAM! The phone number the scammer gives is 866-751-5465. Do not give your social security number or any other personal information - take the phone number and case number down and call your local dispatcher/police and the State Attorney General. The phone number to the office of Patrick Morrissey our WV State Attorney General is 800-368-8808! Please alert your friends and family so they don't get scammed!!!!
I could hear a buzzing sound from the start of the call, till I hung up. Before I hung up, a recorded message started playing about me buying something. That's when i hung up.
Think this may be a scam. Call about lowering interest rate on my credit card and when opted in he said it was for all major credit cards and didn't specify a comany. BEWARE!!
he said his name is mike jones, an is he from the United States Crime Bureau, something about my name an my SSN has been turned into him, i dont know what its about really, I am actually afraid its another scam, trying to get me to send money to them so my name can be cleared, but oh well, the number is from miami, fl an the guys a foreign guy, I want to know how to stop these kind of phone calls. please someone help me stop them, before i have to change my number again.
Someone with a thick Indian accent was on the other line stating something about my car insurance and asking me what kind of car I drive. I said I did not have Insurance with whomever they were, and he said that he was not calling to see me insurance it was for information and he again asked what kind of car I was driving. I told him I was not interested in telling him anything and then I hung up on him.
Caller sent a text message to another student saying they wanted to fight one of my students. This resulted in a fight. I need to know who this number belongs to.
Caller from Carmel NY calls and asked about a two question survey about your finances. I always give them the wrong info anyway, its none of there business....
Second time this number has called looking for a particular person, which I have told does not live in our residence. This time they said they were the Sheriff's office. When I called the number back a man answered saying IRS. I requested not to be contacted again the first time they called and having to ask for a second time is rude and a waste of my time.
Bought car and still have no title, said it was expedited title at DMV. So far been 3 weeks, now can't even call them, says unavailable. Have we been scammed?
automated voice asked if this was _____ and gave my name. When I said yes, call was disconnected. I tried to call back. Phone would ring twice and then connect to no one saying anything.
