This person called claiming to be Officer Hill with the New Haven Con. Police Dept. and sad investigating a credit card scam and needed personal information from me about my business. This is a personal cell phone number which a police officer would never give out to anyone publicly. This is a scam.
A person named Jennifer called claiming to be from a cancer center and asking for money. I explained to her that I've already donated elsewhere and she wouldn't take no for an answer and kept on asking for money. Obviously a SCAM! Watch out for an in-coming number of 1-580-715-3069.
lots of noise in the background...Asked for my husband in his proper name then (which most telemarketers do), hung up when I told her that I was his wife...
We constantly getting fax calls to our home phone from this number. Already faxed them a request to stop this but nothing helps!! What the HELL is wrong with these people!!!!
I am recieved unwanted calls on my cell phone. When I call back the source does not identify its company , claims its current promotion is closed and hangs up on you.
Someone has been calling me from this phone for the past 3 days mostly between 10 and 11 a.m. No one speaks when I answer and the phone is hung up after a while. I am concerned.
A message was left on my answering machine from an automated service at this number. Part of the message was cut off due to my greeting. What I was left with was "this could be sent to a collection agency which will affect your credit adversely". (paraphrased to save space)
this number called a friend of mine, they couldn't understand a word, something about US Marshall, but the caller was definitely foreign. Just trying to find out what I can for my friend.
They called me & asked for my step-brother-in-law, whom I've never even met before, only heard of him through conversations. When I told them I didn't know the person, they asked if I was (__) & stated my name. I told them yes it was me, & they asked if I knew the person they requested & I told them who he was to me, but that I had never met him before. When I asked who they were, they stated if I didn't know how to reach him then I was of no use & hung up the phone. Never throughout the converstaion did they state who they were or any company of any kind & were very rude. His name should not be associated with mine, or my wife's name for that matter. IF this is a true business & not a scam or prank of some sort, they need some serious employee training. And if it's a scam I want to know how my name & number have been associated with him??? This is very concerning & puzzleing to me.
