They said I going to receive a Grant for the amount of $9,200.00 but before they deposit the money to me I need to get a ITunes card and charged with $250.00 (money is suppose refundable at the same time transfer the Grant amount) call them with that card number.
This is one of those scammers that claim to be from "the IRS" and threaten to sue you if you don't immediately give them money. I hang up and just block these type of scammers so they can't get through again.
Asked to have removed from call list. Caller said he could not. I asked to speak to his manager. He replied that they were busy. I told him I would hold. He then began to make lewd statements.
Called twice- was connected 5-seconds and they just hung up??? This is likely a Jamaican (call came from Jamaica!) SCAMMER looking for elderly people to rip-off and if they get younger people they just hang-up. BEWARE ANY CALLS FROM OUT OF COUNTRY! LOOK AT YOUR CALLER ID BEFORE PICKING UP AND NEVER PICK UP CALLS FROM OUTSIDE THE USA!
I'm getting calls with a threat that they will serve me with papers at my residence or job. I've gotten a few calls from this # and a couple of others.
07/14/16, 7:40am: Received unsolicited business or political call at my house from this number (202-386-6287). According to FTC rules, calls of this nature are NOT permitted before 8:00am.
Various 208-555-xxxx numbers have been calling all week. They leave incomplete voice mail messages saying to press 2 to remove my self from their list - none of these messages identify who they are.
Caller didn't leave message but complaints on another web all state caller is from India & he try telling you he's from Micro Soft & your computer has a problem.
This is a cell phone caller from Florida
Microsoft will not call you to tell you that your computer has a problem, you can call Microsoft to verify this for yourself.
Called my cell phone. I do not give my cell phone number out to no one nor businesses. Any call I get like this is just a scam. It's illegal in my state for a company to place soliciting phone calls to a cell phone without written permission from the cell phone holder & no business has that from me. Other complaints on another web don't know who caller is because they don't leave a message. Other state caller hangs up when they answer the phone. One complaint only said caller wanted personal info. I find this number to be a T-Mobile cell phone number from Cleveland, Ohio.
Already on the national AND state NO-CALL LIST.
Why doesn't the damn FCC FINE these jerks?
