Voicemail-person with what sounded like an Indian accent advised that I was going to be called for an initial appearance before the magistrate judge or grand jury for a federal offense. I was to call them so that they could assist me. from 914-336-4567
They call and it sounds like a bull pen in the background - very noisy. I just hung up before anyone responded. I could hear the caller speaking to someone when I answered. RUDE & disruptive to business!!
called my phone and asked for my husband but refused to identify themselves. When I asked, they eventually hung up. Called the number and its a busy signal.
Automated voice message saying that the IRS has been trying to reach me and this is my final notification that they are filing a lawsuit against me. The voice said that I should call 484-394-9186 for more information. The caller ID was unknown, so I don't know the number of the person calling me.
Answered phone call from this number. Didn't speak and "robocaller" kept going right on. He asked me "do you have a credit card" and I continued not to answer. After a while of no answer he finally stated "sorry to have bothered you, have a nice day". I can only assume this is a scam where if you say you have a credit card they then trick you into giving out the card info? I called the number back and the "robocaller" said "the survey you were contacted about is no longer running, hit 9 if you wish to be removed from the list.
Calls every two weeks, never leaves a message. When I call back, it tells you to press 1 to connect, then it disconnects you. Or press 9 to opt out. The number never connects to a live person. Who has the time, or spends the money to setup a trap to no where or speak with anybody. What a waste of of anything.
Says he's calling from "2nd avenue Washington D.C."
Really calling from Bainbridge island, in Washington state.
