Someone called from this number by the time I got to the phone my machine answered whomever it was just kept saying hello. I tried calling back but the number is disconnected. How can someone use a disconnected number? Phone company needs to remove these number so they can not be used.
I received 4 calls within the last 2 days from this joker (with Indian accent) claiming to be from the US Treasury and wanting to send back some overpaid taxes. However, he wanted $ 3.50 to process the paperwork and asked for my credit or debit card information. He did have my correct address, name and home number, so I told him to come to my house to pick up the cash for his service charge. I think that took him by surprise, but he declined my offer. A few minutes later, I filed an online complaint with the FCC and then initiated a "call trace" at Verizon by dialing *57 immediately after I ended my call with this scamster. I feel sorry for this joker, because his persistence is matched by his stupidity. He's obviously not very adept at pulling off scams and needs to take some lessons from Bernie Madoff, or other successful scam masters. Anyone dumb enough to give this foreign accent scam artist any financial information deserves to be scammed.
Caller called and asked for me by name, have no idea whom this person is, never seen the number, there was laughing and joking in the background, again, reverse look-up showed the sth st. petersburg "delmar/4th st.sth location, same as the 7275205888 location; these people need to STOP harass calling me immediately.
Caller called this week, not a sound; said hello over 3 times and still no answer, caller then hung up; reverse look-up shows same location of many other prank calls.
These people call repeatedly claiming they have performed repairs ( usually HVAC related) in your home in the past and you're overdue to have them come back for follow up * so your warranty won't expire*! We've been in same home over 19 years, and own a HVAC related business. Notifying state fraud task force.
A Mr.Parker left a fraudulant message trying to extort money from me with the threat of taking me to court and stated that he was with the "State Dept. in D.C." but the number listed is not in the state departments directory nor do they employ a Mr. Parker with an Indian accent. I reported this number to the the FBI fraud department.
He left a message saying his name was officer Markus from the Internal Revenue Service and they were investigating me for tax fraud and tax invasion ...LOLL...THICK ACCENT, he said he was going to issue a warrant for my arrest but before he does that I needed to call him back....I'm sure he wants my routing number...LOLLL....I hope nobody falls for these calls....

Caller says you won a prize and proceeds to gather personal information. After providing some they continue to try to gather more. Once you've given all you are comfortable with they say you do not qualify. Most likely identity theft spammers - BEWARE!!!

Our business voicemail(in Ohio) had a call from this number that came in at 9:02 p.m. on 1/12/2015. The message was not clear but began with a man's voice stating something about only needing to leave a 30 second message. Another answering machine then picked up and identified that number as the "Canadian Embassy in Havana". After a long pause, a Spanish speaking woman spoke for some time before she seemed to have either hung up or was disconnected.
I called the number the morning after it was left but got a message saying I either had the wrong number or the number had been disconnected.
We have had messages like this on our answering machine but this is the first time it was clear enough to identify the embassy location. This is also the first time anyone else spoke on the recording.
I didnt answer and they left a message... It's a recording, for payday loans, says Congratulations you are approved for your payday loan. I have never applied for a payday loan. Those places are ripoffs.
Hello, it's Ken Dougherty, how are you today.
