Left voicemail. Telemarketer for Personal Medical Alert System. Also wants to give you $1,000 worth of groceries if you sign up by pressing 1. When you try to call the number back, call cannot be completed.
Caller just said hello. I could hear lots of others talking on phones in the background. Other web sites with multiple complaints on caller state caller pretends to be microsoft & wants control of your computer because it has a virus. I traced call to Carlos A. & Kaylene Carpio 333 Silkwood Dr. Bryan, TX. 77803
Called then hung up & no more than hung up it called me right back again.
It's a cell phone number too.
The name/business showed up as the phone number but it didn't have the dashes
it just showed up as 8644123534 & then the phone number was 864-412-3534
Other web sites with complaints against this cell phone caller state it's a recording trying to sell home security systems
I just received the SAME CALL from a foreign man who says "HI, my name is Steve Martin.....etc., etc"
With the same threats as the previous commenter described.
WHO AND WHAT IS THIS?
If you call back, it goes directly to an answering machine with NO IDENTIFYING COMPANY/PERSON to verify WHO you are calling.
I received an automated generated telephone from this company that stated that I owed a debt and gave no further details (this goes against the rules and regulations of the Do Not Call Registry-No automated telephone calls from a company without the ability to speak with a “live†operator). It was an automated generated telephone call with NO ability to speak with a “live representative†from the company to determine what this was about. I believe this is a scam and should be investigated by our governing authorities for using IMPROPER collection tactics!
This guy keeps calling me in the middle of the night and it is waking up my family. This needs to stop. Now. Last night he called at one am, two, two thirty, three, three forty-five, four, and five am. My kids need sleep, and I am on call for work I can't have this man calling all night every night. I dont even know how he got my number....
Caller with heavy Indian accent said he was Steve Martin and calling for an enforcement action for Dept of Treasury. He threatened legal action for refusal to return call.
