A message was left on my answering machine 1-9-15 from a professional sounding female saying whe was with the IRS and they were preparing to sue me. She left the phone number shown herein for me to call. I had heard about this scam previously and will report it to the IRS. My caller ID showed the call came from 268-457-5522 and that is an Antigua area code.
They called ad left no message. Tried to call them back and says number is not in service. Ten Sleep, WY has a population of 257. Not a big place and not a lot of businesses there.
This person was sending maliscious texts and prank calls to my son. It's a teenage girl who gave her name as Hannah Farmer, although that may or may not be her name. Thinking it might be Layla Lalonde. If you get a text from this number, take it to the police.
Everyone online says that this information is free and then commence to demand a charge. I want to know who is calling my cell phone and I can not afford to pay for that information.
calls repeatedly requesting information on a student loan that dosenot exist. when called back has a ring back tone that can not be a company's land line. if called from this number report to the police.
They didn't ask for a specific person, as soon as I answered the phone they said we are calling about your past due car insurance payment. I told her I was at work and didn't have time to talk and before I could ask her anything she said okay bye. Then when I tried calling the number back it doesn't ring or anything.
We just received a similar call with a recorded message from "officer Julie Smith of the Internal Revenue Service". "She" gave this phone number to return call to and said to return the call before action was taken against us.
This person knew my name - confirmed it was me and then hung up. Although I have caller ID and re-dial - I am unable to call back. I believe this person called to verify my number for fraud.
"This Lisa from Rewards. You were selected to receive a gift card for . . . You are receiving this because you signed u for one of our internet sites." I do not allow cookies to follow me on the internet. Having these kind of calls violates my privacy. Another thing where in the hell did they get my home number which is not published nor have I ever given out to any site on the internet except for my personal finances.
This idiot called at 5:30 a.m and asked, "What size shoe do you wear?". He called a total of 3 times in 7 minutes. Once my husband answered the phone he stopped calling.
Really? I have to pay for these damn texts and I can't even find out who is sending them.
They said DO YOU KNOW WHO THIS IS?
