I should clarify my original comment. The phone number that was on my caller ID was 1-720-598-6544 and then I was asked to call the number I listed on the previous comment in order to respond to the IRS charges. I wanted to make this clarification in case the 360-362-4254 (Bremerton, WA landline) is that of an innocent party being set up as the result of not answering their original call.
I received a call from this number with a recorded message saying there was a tax fraud case in my name and with my social security number and I should call this number back right away, which I did not.
robo call claiming to be from the IRS and that they are pursuing a lawsuit against you. Beware!! Do not respond this is a scam. According to my research the IRS doesn't contact by phone They would send an official letter.
Say his name is Steve Martin and is calling regarding an enforcement action executed by US Treasury and ignoring him will be an appearance before a Magistrate Judge or Grand Jury for Federal Criminal Offense.
I not the smartest person on earth but one thing I do know, if the Treasury / IRS wants to contact you, they use US Mail, not a phone number without caller ID. If they want you really bad, they come a knocking on your door.
Caller is a female phone #201-254-3594. Asked for my husband by name and said it was a personal call. Did not what to give me any information of who she was or who she was representing. I told her that any personal busy of my husband's was a concern of mine. She politely said "Have a nice day" and hung up.
Received 3 calls on 2/4/15; caller had a heavy accent and claimed to be calling about an important matter concerning a grand jury; message simply left a number to call back. Received same message from a different number, 747-201-9800
I keep receiving calls from this number on my cell phone. They never leave a message and I refuse to answer because I do not recognize the phone number
LANGLOIS' VITAL NUTRITION CENTER about 972-428-5200
4 February 2015
If CPP doesn't stop harassing our nutrition center, I'm going to report them to the police for harassment. We are very busy assisting clients and customers and don't have time for this!! We have received 18 calls so far today. Grrrrr. STOP RIGHT NOW!
Received phone call stating "final notice" that IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and left a number to call. When I called the number it was a recording/advertising for Magic Jack phone service.
The person is claiming to work for the IRS, they are saying you owe the IRS money. What makes it laughable is that their speech has an accent of a person from India. We receive calls from this group at least once a day. you would think they would give up and take your number off their list but they don't.......they just keep changing their number hoping you cave to the scam and give them personal information.
Same thing....called me several times until I blocked them. Strange answering message that makes no sense. I will report to T-Mobile just in case this gets past the blocked number.
This person left a VM asking me to call back as I had won a Samsung Galaxy. I live in Norway and have never signed up for anything like this. So I assume this is a spammer/fraudster.
Somebody from this number leaves messages that they are from Department of Legal affairs (for who you never know) and says that legal action is being taken against you. It is from a mobile line out of San Francisco
Fraud
